Jewellery Care Guide
We recognise the significance of your new jewellery piece and understand your desire to cherish and wear it for many years to come. Therefore, there are certain care tips to be mindful of when wearing it on a daily basis.
-
Chemicals - Harsh chemicals found in cleaning products, antibacterial hand santiser, perfume, hairspray, nail polish remover, chlorine, etc., will damage the finish of your jewellery piece. The finish can easily bend or scratch.
-
Water - Do not submerge jewellery in water, it is water resistant not water waterproof. We recommend removing all jewellery when bathing, swimming, washing up, etc., as everyday products may damage the finish.
-
Nail salon/Sunbathing - UV rays and UV/LED light boxes can damage the finish of your jewellery. Do not wear jewellery when placing nails under UV/LED light.
-
Sunlight - prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause discolouration and the resin to soften.
-
Temperature Changes - Large fluctuations in temperature may cause the piece to expand and contract, causing the elements to separate.
-
Scrapes - Try to avoid scratching and bumping your jewellery as this may cause damage.
-
Smoking - with prolonged exposure, your jewellery may discolour.
